Welcome to the online Class Test Center, which represents one of the many ways in which Encounters is setting a new standard for language instruction. The Center provides easy, early, and ongoing access to the program's rich resources. It also offers several ways for instructors to share suggestions and comments so Encounters can better meet their needs and the needs of their students.
There are two versions of class testing, Open Access and Expanded Access, which differ in the amount of the Encounters materials made available and the corresponding obligations to provide feedback. The Open Access Class Test provides teachers with two (2) Units of Encounters in additon to the Introductory Unit. The Expanded Access Class Test provides teachers and students with access to ten (10) Units of Encounters in addition to the Introductory Unit, but requires teachers to participate in more extensive feedback activities.
Most publishers don't offer Class Testing on the web, but as you can see from the summary below, it's as easy as 1-2-3-4! Instructions are available at each step of the process to guide you. There is also a "Need Help?" link at the top of every page of the Class Test Center.

Your observations will be essential and most welcome as we continue to improve the Encounters program. You can share your comments in a survey after your class-testing is complete. In addition, Encounters offers you the unique ability to annotate actual pages from the sample units online so you can communicate your thoughts and suggestions about specific items.
As a Thank You: For participating in this pioneering effort to conduct class-testing online, qualified instructors who completely answer the Class Testing survey are eligible for a
